Application for Slon.ru
We have developed an app for Slon.ru on Windows 8
in 2012, so that users never miss Russian and world news
in politics, business, and technology from their favorite
media. The content is available on tablets and PC in
a convenient format.

Share the most interesting articles
System sharing is available in the app, enabling users
to share an article in a few clicks on all available
social network accounts.
All sections of the application are rolled up to five
or seven recent news items and posted on the panorama. This
allows you to quickly create a picture of the day.
Smart feed
The application grid adapts to the size of the monitor and
displays the corresponding number of news blocks.
Favorites and split-mode
Users can add media stories to their favorites and look at chosen
articles on different devices, also the app works in split-mode.
Task blending has never been so easy.
The “favorites” section is based on Roaming Storage. This
allowed us to synchronize materials between devices with
a shared Live ID.
